We have Isabelle!

We have Isabelle! She is a perfect little angel, very sweet. Everything has been very smooth. She is opening up more and more. She thinks Andrew is very funny. She seems to have a bit of a cough. She has only been fed bottles of formula with rice cereal mixed in. I think it is going to be a bit of a challenge getting her to eat food. I tried cereal with a spoon tonight...no way would she eat it.

We need to go to bed now...early morning tomorrow...more paperwork.

Will post photos tomorrow.

Tina, I gave Mrs. Zhong your envelope.

Caroline-

Isabelle sounds lovely and I can't wait to see pictures once everyone is settled in!

When we adopted Emma she was 21.5 m.o. & also on the infamous formula/rice cereal mix. We lured her into trying some "real" food by starting out SWEET--my DH Greg gave her a bite of frosting from a travel mates birthday cake. :) After that she took easily to eating scrambled eggs, applesauce, noodles- and other healthier items. ; )(*lol*)!

Warmest congratulations on your newest family member!!! I am sure that you will have a fabulous week with her!

Rejoicing in Texas! Bao Bao has her family! We are so very happy for all of you!

Praying that Isabelle's cough gets better, and that she learns to eat some "real food" real quick.

Oh Caroline I am so excited! Praying that things go well as your sweet girl gets to know you, and you get to know her.

Can't wait to see pictures, hope you all are getting some good rest.

Blessings from Texas, and hugs and kisses from Xiao Xiao to Bao Bao!

Love,

The Winder Family

Caroline,

Congratualtions! I am so glad it's been a good transition.

Shay had never eaten solid food either. I tried coating a spoon with jelly. What finally worked was my sister had brought lollipops, and she loved it. After that she like the rice congee, (it's sweet, although she ate it with the fish bits in it at the end of the trip) noodles, bits of egg, anything that would just slide down, oh yeah, and mashed potatoes with gravy from KFC.

Have a wonderful trip. Can't wait to see the pictures.
